South River Early Learning Center & Primary School's Educators and Educational Support Professionals of the Year
The South River Early Learning Center is beyond thrilled to announce our New Jersey Governor's Educator & Educational Specialist of the Year for 2025-2026. Ms. Sarah Augustin, Preschool Teacher, is our Educator of the Year. Mrs. Tania Domingues, School Speech Therapist, is our Educational Support Professional of the Year. The dedication they show to students each day is truly worthy of this honor. Congratulations to both of them!

South River Primary unveiled its two Wellness Walks this month. The Wellness Walks provide students with a resource to promote their social-emotional health and well-being. As students move along the path, they are cued to perform a series of movements to activate different parts of the body and the brain.
These walks them to re-regulate when they are feeling dysregulated, promote coping skills related to improving one’s mood, changing or distracting unhelpful thoughts and increasing relaxation skills. The stations benefit all age levels and offer students several ways to effectively deal with everyday stressors.
